FBC at 20 Years

Greetings!

As the first month of this new year is already at a close, I am reminded at how quickly time passes and how important it is to focus on each opportunity presented to us.

Recently, the Fresno Business Council celebrated its 20th anniversary.  Milestones like these are times to pause; to both look back at the journey traveled and to look forward to see what is on the horizon.

For the last decade, the FBC has learned how to tackle tough issues by developing the action framework-the Four Spheres-and using the 10 Community Values as the guideposts. Difficult and polarizing issues, like mental health and education, are now thankfully showing promising results. Our new board president, Scott Rhodes, continually emphasizes the “we” in all the work undertaken. When the community comes together, we are enough and can achieve anything.

We invite you to join us on this journey where together we can create a great community, a community where everyone belongs and everyone contributes.  The great community that is the real Fresno.
